Öznur Çömlek – Consultant / Designer

After completing her degree in Industrial Engineering at Kocaeli University, Öznur Çömlek earned her Master’s in Industrial Product Design at Istanbul Technical University in 2009. Throughout her career, she has worked with some of Turkey’s most established and pioneering brands as a designer and product manager, developing products across diverse scales including furniture, lighting, tabletop items, and decorative objects. She has actively contributed to every stage of numerous projects—from ideation to design, from production to marketing—ensuring their successful realization.

During both her academic and professional journey, she has cultivated and synthesized analytical skills with the creative competencies of design. She approaches product management holistically, considering the entire lifecycle of a product—from its initial concept to its presence on the shelf and eventual conclusion of its journey. Her ongoing research and work focus on local craft culture, creativity, design thinking, lean management, and sustainability.

In 2023, she founded Fifil, a brand through which she collaborates with master artists and craftspeople to design collections and manage brand processes. www.fifil.com.tr
